South African-born Brad Baard is a self-styled global explorer, writer
and artist who has sharpened his communication skills and explored his
creative passions (to date) through experience in sound design, video
directing, art direction, copywriting and scriptwriting. His mission is
discovery. Life is his love and Sharing with people is his source of
delight, whether dancing in the desert or seeing moonlight play like
lightning in the ocean. Brad independently produced and shot social commentary
and environmental documentary videos before becoming a video director
and scriptwriter for the Launch Factory - winning New York Festival
Awards, multiple Avanti Awards and a Loerie Craft Award. He was
a designer, copywriter and Creative Group Head for Ogilvy & Mather
Promotional Campaigns where he won a Sales and Design SPADA award
and the Omnigraphics Design-On-The-Move Competition, before evolving
into a freelance photo-journalist on global community, music and
dance culture, travelling the world, making friends, dancing under
the sun and stars, celebrating life.
